A group, Nigerian Lawyers Renaissance Forum yesterday described the alarm raised by embattled self – acclaimed United Kingdom Private investigator Victor Uwajeh alleging that Senator Andy Uba want to kill him as another ploy to scuttled his arraignment before a federal High court in Abuja.
Embattled Uwajeh will be arraigned before a federal high court in Abuja on the 29 March, 2018 over allegations bordering on documents falsification, fraud and forgery before Justice John Tsoho.
The federal government has slammed a two count charge against Victor Uwajeh after police investigations indicted him.
According to the group, Uwajeh should avail the public with the details of the threats, the police station or the security agency he reported the matter to.
The group further added that the alarm raised by Uwajeh is an attempt to divert attention in other to avoid prosecution, he has been into hiding since the charges were filed in court.
The group also, called on the Nigerian Police force and the Department of States Security, DSS, to investigate Uwajeh false alarm as well the certificate being paraded by Victor Uwajeh as a private Investigator from the United Kingdom.
According to a statement obtained from Barrister Jide Awoniyi, the group described Uwajeh as a serial fraudster who wants to divert attention on his arraignment pending in court as well as thwart the move by Nigerian securiy agencies to commence investigation in the fake certificate he is parading in the public as a United kingdom private investigator and so many other numerous documents he forged .
He is currently standing trial on a two count charge bothering on fraud, impersonation and forgery.
“He is currently into hiding after being investigated by the police and eventually charged to court over forgery, theft, documents falsification.
Uwajeh will be arraigned on the 29 March before Justice John Tsoho over alleged forgery and fraud related charges.
