Balogun- Fulani Led APC Picks Olrunfemi As Deputy Governorship Candidate

….. Holds Primaries For Rep Seat By- election Saturday

The court- backed Ishola Balogun- Fulani led All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state has nominated Mr Adeoye Olorunfemi as its deputy governorship candidate for next year’s general election.

Olorunfemi from Oke- Ero local government area of the state will serve as the running mate of the APC’s faction gubernatorial candidate, Hon.Kayode AbdulWahab.

The Acting publicity secretary of the party in the state, Dr Dele Kayode disclosed this in a statement issued in Ilorin on Friday.

The party also said its primaries for the Ekiti/Oke- Ero/Isin/ Irepodun constituency bye election will hold on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

It said the primaries will hold in each of the 42 wards in the federal constituency at 10.A.M, using the direct primary option.
The Ekiti/ Oke-Ero/Isin/ Irepodun constituency’s seat in the House of Representatives became vacant following the death of Princess Olufunke Adedoyin who was elected to represent the constituency during the 2015 general election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has consequently fixed the bye election to elect a new representative for the constituency for November 17, 2018.
