Nigerians have been charged to always praise God, no matter the circumstances, for His mercy and benevolence over His creations.

A Cleric, Reverend Olushola Ajolore gave the charge on Thursday in ilorin, the Kwara state capital, in a short exhortation delivered at a programme to mark the 94th birthday of the Mother of the Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mrs Ena Maud Alabi.

Reverend Ajolore, who was a former Secretary of the State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), acknowledged God’s grace on the mother of the Deputy Governor and urged all and sundry to always thank God for His mercy and protection.

The Cleric implored the people to always fear God in their dealings and worship Him wholeheartedly.

In a brief testimony, the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi described his mother as a loving and caring woman that has the interest of children generally at heart, while thanking her for giving all her children proper training and upbringing and for believing in them.

Also speaking, one of the Children, Modupe Alabi praised their mother for her love and particularly for showing them the way of the Lord.

The Chairman of the State Christian Association of Nigeria, Professor Timothy Opoola later led other Ministers of God to offer special for the Celebrant, the Children and the State in general.
