President Buhari has travelled to London to treat lingering ear infection that has prevented him from attending public functions recently.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Affairs, Mr. Femi Adesina said Buhari will take 10 days sick leave to enable him treat the ear infection.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will take ten days off and travel to London on Monday, June 6, 2016, to rest”, the statement explained.
It further disclosed that during the holiday, he will see an Ear, Nose and Throat, E.N.T Specialist for a persistent ear infection.
The statement recalled that the President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja, and was treated adding however that both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution
