Freed Boko Haram Commander Threatens To Bomb Abuja

Boko Haram has released a new video allegedly showing the terrorist group’s commanders who were swapped with 82 Chibok girls.

In the video, obtained by journalist Ahmed Salkida and published by Sahara Reporters, one of the alleged commanders, Shuaibu Moni, claimed that more than five of them were released in exchange for the Chibok girls.

He also denied reports that Boko Haram had signed a truce with the Federal Government to end hostilities.

Moni said, as part of their war against the government, the insurgents were set to launch fresh attacks in parts of the country, and that a bomb attack on Abuja was imminent.

Boko Haram had freed 82 Chibok girls on Saturday, last week, in exchange for some of its commanders who were captured by Nigerian troops.

The insurgents had in October 2016 released 21 of the girls following similar negotiations.
