As part of its commitment towards ensuring a landslide victory for the APC in Kwara State in the forthcoming general elections, the Gobir Foundation has donated an Ultra Modern Building to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State.
In a statement by the President of the Gobir organization, Waziri Yakubu Gobir, the building is donated as part of the organisation’s contribution to the success of the party in the forthcoming elections in the State.
The building, located at number six Asa Dam road, GRA Ilorin, will serve as the new secretariat of the party in the State and will enhance a smooth running of its activities.
It would be recalled that the Gobir Organisation had previously donated over one hundred vehicles towards the re-election Campaign bid of President Muhammadu Buhari and had always promoted the best interest of the APC.
Official date for the opening of the new Secretariat, according to the Organisation, will be communicated soon.
Gobir, who lauded the tremendously good work members and supporters of the APC in the state are doing to garner support for the party ahead of the 2019 elections, enjoined them not to be complacent but to assiduously keep the flag flying until victory is achieved at all levels by the party. To further boost the morale of members and supporters of the party, Gobir assured them of more logistics support from time to time.
The Presidential support Committee for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari recently appointed Waziri Yakubu Gobir as the Patron of Buhari support organisation in an appointment letter signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President (political) and presidential Committee Facilitator, Rt Hon. Gideon Sammani.
