No fewer than 20 persons were allegedly killed in a night attack by suspected gunmen at Ancha Village of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau late hours of Thursday September 7, 2017.
A resident of the area, who preferred anonymity, told NAN that the attack left scores severely injured.
On his part, the Spokesperson of the Plateau State Police Command, ASP Terna Tyopev, confirmed the attack but could not give details.
“Yes, we are aware of the attack, but we don’t have the details now.
“We are on our way to the scene of the attack to get first hand information on the situation,” he said.
