Lagos Police Arrests Three, Rescue Abducted Girls

Three persons have been arrested, and are now in police custody, and all three kidnap students of Barbington Macaulay school, Ikorodu area of the state rescued.
According to Public Relations Officer, for the Lagos State Police command, Ifedolapo Badmus, the operation to rescue the students, was led by the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Ajani Fatai Owoseni has rescued in the early hours of today, at Igbo Okuta area, of Ikorodu.
Badmus, who spoke with nationaTRAIL via telephone, said the rescue was made possible through the command’s intelligent gathering machineries, and that further investigation was still ongoing into the matter.
While reassuring Lagosians on behalf of the command of the commitment of Lagos police’s determination to protecting lives and property, she expressed the command’s thanks to both Lagosians and Nigerians in general for believing in the force.
The school girls were abducted in the early hours of March 1, by some gunmen who broke through the fence of their school in Ikorodu area of Lagos state.
