LET EDO REMAIN IN YOUR HEART- Osagie Tells Edo People

It was a great re- union on Easter Sunday at the popular B’s Hive Hotel, Gwarimpa, Abuja, when the Former Minority Whip of the House of Representatives and APC Senatorial Candidate in 2015 election, Honourable Samson Osagie hosted noteable Edo State indigenes Abuja.

Honourable Osagie, who is the
Executive Director at the Nigerian Communications Satellite Ltd, play host to the Executive National President of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, Comrade Osakpamwan Eriyo and some notable Edo state indigenes in Abuja.

Welcoming guests to his place, Hon Samson Osagie said it is rare privilege to see the kind of guests he is hosting on a special day of Easter ,adding that Edo state remained in his heart having served as a State and National legislator.

He said as Edolites working or living in Abuja irrespective of political differences what is paramount is the economic development of our dear state, hence they must work together to achieve it.

Osagie said, ” Am glad playing host to these great men from my dear state in my own little way. I will strongly appeal to
you all irrespective of what political party we belong to always put development of our state first in all that we do.
For me, Edo state is very paramount in my heart having served as a state and Federal lawmaker.”

“Therefore, let me thank my brothers, Comrade Osakpamwan Eriyo, who with all humility has proven himself in his own field by rising to be the National President of his Union, my former speaker, Ex- APC Chairman in Edo state, Hon Thomas Okosun, My senior lawmaker, Hon Dr West Idahosa, former Commissioner Hon Ekpenisi Omorotionmwan and many other guests.”

While appreciating the gesture, Comrade Osakpamwan Eriyo thanked Hon Samson Osagie for the honour and promised not to let Edo people down in carrying out his tasks as the National President of RTEAN.

He said having gone through the rudiment of unionism, he will use the experience for the betterment of Edo state people and for the welfare of the union members and Nigeria as a whole.
