Masari Charges new FUDMA VC to review community relations

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state has urged the new Vice- Chancellor, Federal University Dutsinma to review the relationship between the institution and its immediate communities to create the desired enabling learning environment.
Masari made this assertion when the new VC, Professor Haruna Abdu Kaita led other school management staff paid him a visit in Katsina.
He urged him to create a committee that would enhance the university and community relations to address the alleged bad image created by his predecessor.
According to him, there is no miracle in success, but it requires loyalty, perseverance, dedication and commitment to achieve success.
The Governor however commended the previous government for donating a school for its take-off and land for the permanent site, assuring that, his administration would continue to assist the institution to attain its goals.
Earlier, the new vice-chancellor of Federal University, Dutsinma, Professor Haruna Abdu Kaita who noted that, he met a number of petitions, said he will implement the mandate given him based on the Federal character system.
Kaita also promised to look at the petitions with a view to addressing them towards moving the institution to greater heights.
