Despite the daunting challenges confronting her, Nigeria is on the path to greatness again, former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said.
Obasanjo who spoke at the 52nd annual service of songs of the 1st ECWA Church, Ilorin, Kwara state assured Nigerians that no matter the difficulties and challenges the nation was going through, it will come out stronger.
The former President reassured the congregants that “though children finished from schools without employment, market women are not finding it easy, and the downturn in the economy, the country is on her path to greatness again”.
Obasanjo who was impressed by the performance of the choir invited the choir to his Christmas carol which holds on December 23rd of every year.
The occasion was graced by the Governor of Kwara State represented by the Head of Service, former Military Governor of Bauchi, Col. Theophilous Bamgboye, top government officials, captains of industry and Nigerians from all walks of life.
