Over 1,500 Clerics For Benin Christian Programme

The annual Christian convention slated for next week in Benin City, Edo state will host Over 1, 500 Christian leaders across   the Christian world.

The 7-day Convention christened ‘Bible Alive Believers International Convention’ (BABIC) is organized by the Gospel Light International Ministry (GLIM) – New Covenant Gospel Church (NCGC).

Frontline Church leaders also expected at the gospel event include National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rev. Dr. Felix Omobude, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Bishop Simeon Okah, Pastor Lawrence Achudume and Dr Reggies Wenyika, amongst others.

Renowned gospel singers, Dr Ron Kenoly and Evangelist Nathaniel Bassey would be the lead singers during the BABIC Christian event.

With the theme “A City Set on a Hill”, over 100,000 Christian delegates and worshippers from Nigeria, Africa, America and Europe are expected to grace the convention.

National President of PFN and General Superintendent of New Covenant Gospel Church (NCGC), Rev Dr Felix Omobude in a press statement endorsed in Benin City by his Media Aide, Deacon Ralph Okhiria, stated that several issues plaguing Nigeria as a nation will be handed over to God in prayers.

“For 7 days beginning from Monday – October 23, 2017, Christian leaders from across the world will gather at the main auditorium of the New Covenant Gospel Church, Benin City for a spiritual experience that will bless Nigeria as a country and Nigerians as a people.

“During the convention, the over 100,000 Christian leaders and worshippers will be praying against the rising spate of violent crimes especially cases of insurgency, kidnapping, armed robbery, assassination and other criminalities.

“It is our expectation that there shall be a harvest of miracles, signs and wonders, even as we have God’s assurance that the lame will walk, the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the captives set free, the abundance of messages of salvation and both spiritual and physical healing for our nation Nigeria”, Dr Felix Omobude added.
