Rising Cases Of Homosexuals in Niger Worries NSCDC

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has raised the alarm over rising cases of homosexuality in parts of Niger state saying the situation is becoming so embarrassing with increased number of under aged boys as ‘targets’.

Suspected homosexuals using unsuspecting teenage boys for his ‘wicked act’ was recently arrested by the NSCDC while two boys, aged between 13 and 17 are currently hospitalized as a result of being sexually abused.

Niger state Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Philip Ayuba who raised the alarm however said the arrest of some suspects by the command was different from others being made by sister security agencies in the state

The recent culprit, a 50 year old Musa Danmasani who is an indigene of Kebbi state but residence in Rijau town in the Magama Local Government Area of Niger state, the NSCDC Commander said was caught in the act of using underage children as sex partners.

Musa Danmasani, according to the Commandant had first ‘used’ 17 year old Umar Farouk and after that sent the lad to go and buy ‘lubricant’ he intends to use on his other prey, 13 year old Abdulrahaman Jibrin before the bubble burst.

While Jibrin was said to have gone searching for where he would get the ‘lubricant’, information leaked to security agents about the escapades of Musa Danmasani prompting security agents to play along with the ‘errand boy’ in helping him to get the lubricant and monitoring his movements to the suspects’ home.

Ayuba further explained that, little Jibrin was there after being assisted to get the ‘lubricant’ and he was subsequently followed closely at a distant to trace the house of Musa Danmasani ‘where he (Danmasani) was caught red handed using Umar Farouk’.

“Investigation into the crime had been completed and the suspect handed over to the Niger State Child Rights Agency for prosecution”, the NSCDC Commandant said as he advised parents to monitor the movement of their wards and children to avoid falling easy prey to ‘these evil
people’.

It would be recalled that in the last couple of weeks the police in Niger state had arrested some men from the same senatorial zone for similar offences.
