The National Chairman, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard (BATSV), Dr. Dare Owotomobi, has lamented that the rampaging coronavirus pandemic is worse than Ebola and HIV/AIDS, and has, therefore, admonished Nigerians to be more proactive in preventing the virus, saying prevention is always better than cure.

To check the deadly virus from spreading further in the country, BATSV Chairman stressed the need for everybody to comply with medical and various governments’ advice and directives such as maintaining proper hygiene, washing of hands, maintaining social distance with people, staying at home policy, and covering of mouth when coughing or sneezing, among others.

Warning that a price would be paid for disobedience to medical experts’ and constituted authorities’ admonition on the global challenge, Dr. Owotomobi prayed for the speedy recovery of the infected victims, assuring Nigerians of the APC-led federal government’s capability and capacity to combat the dreadful virus.

Meanwhile, BATSV National Chairman has sent the Vanguard’s heartfelt condolences to the family of the person who died of the ailment.

Dr. Owotomobi has, therefore, appealed to all BATSV members nationwide and all Nigerians in general to desist from activities and actions that may attract the infection of the virus, while also urging the BATSV family to remain steadfast and focused despite the medical crisis, stressing that members should not compromise the mission and vision of the group.
