Kwara State government has pledged to accord equal treatment to all bodies and organisations in its bid to ensure an all round development of the State.

Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi, who made the promise yesterday in Ilorin, the stare capital, while receiving Executives of the Igbomina Ekiti Muslim Council in his office, urged the people to continue to support the administration and also pray for its success, saying prayer is the elixer needed to succeed in life and governance.

Alabi assured the Council that government would continue to partner with all stakeholders, particularly religious organisations in its drive to make life more meaningful for the citizenry.

The Missioner of Igbomina Ekiti Muslim Council, Alhaji Nurain Abbas congratulated the governor and his deputy on their 100 days in office, which he described as monumental and unprecedented in terms of dividends of democracy to the people of the state, while also appreciating the Deputy Governor for his support to the Council.

Alhaji Nurain, who said the Council was inaugurated in 1976 covering over 200 communities in Igbomina/Ekiti axis of the state, appealed to the administration for the posting of more teachers of Islamic Religious Knowledge and Christian Religious Knowledge to schools across the State, adding that moral education would go a long way to curb the growing ills in the society.
