5th Anniversary: AbdulRazaq building prosperous Kwara, says KAM Holding MD

The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KAM Holding Limited, Dr Kamoru Yusuf, has lauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, describing him as a builder of prosperous Kwara.

In a congratulatory message to commemorate AbdulRazaq’s first year of second term in office, the KAM Holding boss said the Governor, who is also the Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), has succeeded in touching all spheres of governance in the state.

Dr Yusuf added that the interest of Governor AbdulRazaq in the operations of KAM Holding signposts a better tomorrow for the steel industry development in the state and the country at large.

This medium recalled that the Governor, while playing host to the Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuiab Abubakar Audi, during his tour of KAM Holding Limited plants in Ilorin and Jimba-Oja, Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state, urged the federal government to consider KAM Holding Limited for the management of Ajaokuta Steel Rolling Mill in Kogi State.

AbdulRazaq had noted that with the trillions of naira investment of KAM Holding Limited in steel industry, the company has shown the capacity that it could manage Ajaokuta Steel Rolling Mill if given the opportunity.

Dr Yusuf, in his congratulatory message titled “Happy Democracy Day to a truly deserving people’s Governor”, said AbdulRazaq deserves every honour.

He said: “Our Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), you deserve every honour and flowers on this fifth
year anniversary of your leadership in the state.

“You are truly the builder of prosperous Kwara. You have succeeded in touching every sector with a touch of gold. Your support and interest in what we do in our establishment, gladden our hearts and assure us of a better tomorrow for the steel industry development, both in Kwara and the nation at large.
