Contrary to news making the rounds, National Trail can authoritatively reveal, that, the High Court judge in Borno state,Justice Haruna Mshelia, who was abducted along with his wife and brother by Boko Haram elements, on the Biu-Damaturu road is alive.
The Senator representing Borno South in the Nigerian Senate, Mohammed Ali Ndume, confirmed this to our correspondent in a chat on Thursday morning.
The Senator, who also revealed a picture of the judge, his wife and brother, also disclosed that his Police Orderly, who was abducted along with them, may have been killed by the terrorists.
The picture which shows only Justice Mshelia, his wife and brother, was an indication of the oderly’ s murder, as there has been no love lost between Boko Haram and the Police.
Senator Ndume, who called for prayers for the release of the trio, said, “Alhamdullilah, Justice Mshelia, his wife and brother are alive, and we are making efforts to ensure his release”.
It may be recalled that, Justice Haruna Mshelia was abducted a out a month ago, while travelling from Biu to Maiduguri after the Sallah celebrations.
