Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has shared a heartwarming story about her daughter Olivia’s selfless gesture on her 11th birthday. Instead of asking for gifts or a traditional birthday party, Olivia chose to spend her special day with less privileged children.
When asked by her parents, Annie and her husband, 2baba, what she wanted for her birthday, Olivia surprised them with a request to celebrate with 300 children in Ogbombo. This request left Annie in tears, as it revealed how much thought and kindness Olivia had for others at such a young age.
Annie shared that she had remembered Olivia mentioning the idea the previous year, but she didn’t take it seriously. The family decided to fulfill Olivia’s request, and they spent the day bringing joy to those in need. Olivia also asked for a proper party with music, a DJ, and games, showing her excitement for the occasion.
Annie expressed how proud and emotional she felt, witnessing her daughter’s big heart and generosity. She described Olivia’s birthday wish as a beautiful reminder of the importance of thinking beyond oneself.
