Ahmed Ibrahim, former Legal Director of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has officially joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) after retiring from public service. The event, held in Abuja, saw Ibrahim welcomed by Zakari Babale, Secretary of the Abuja Municipal Area Council, along with other party members from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter.
In his address, Ibrahim expressed his conviction that the APC has positive intentions for Nigeria. He highlighted President Bola Tinubu’s achievements in security, agriculture, human capital development, and social investment as key reasons for his decision. Ibrahim called on all citizens to support Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” aiming to propel the nation to greater heights despite existing challenges.
At the ceremony, Ibrahim was presented with the APC flag and a broom, the party’s symbol. He pledged to help revitalize the party ahead of the 2027 general elections and urged members to unite in promoting the Federal Government’s policies for the country’s development. “This is a time to join efforts with the Tinubu-led administration to build a better society for all,” he emphasized.
