The Executive Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Umar Dangi Abbas as the Chairman, Board of Directorate for the Katsina State Exploration and Mining Company (KEMCO).
This appointment is in line with Governor Radda’s decision to enhance the state’s mineral resources sector and drive economic growth.
Alhaji Umar Dangi Abbas brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this crucial role. His appointment is expected to significantly contribute to the development and efficient management of Katsina State’s mineral resources.
The Governor expresses confidence that under Alhaji Abbas’s leadership, KEMCO will play a pivotal role in harnessing the state’s mineral potential, creating employment opportunities, and boosting the state’s revenue.
