Mbappe voices disappointment with PSG’s season: “I don’t expect anything from this club”

Kylian Mbappe, the superstar of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), expressed his lack of expectations for the club. Despite winning the Ligue 1 title, the 2022-23 season is considered disappointing by PSG supporters, as the league title has become predictable since the change in ownership in 2011. The team under Christophe Galtier faced setbacks in the Champions League and the Coupe de France, and their season concluded with a 3-2 defeat to Clermont Foot. Mbappe scored a penalty goal during the final game, but the visitors staged an impressive comeback. When asked about his expectations for PSG next season, Mbappe gave a gloomy response, stating, “No, nothing, I’m just here to play. I still have a contract, I come to play.”Mbappe also mentioned that he is content with the efforts made by the club and will be satisfied with what they are doing. He stated, “The club is doing what it can, I’ll just be happy with what the club is doing. The rest is none of my business.” This indicates his willingness to focus on his role as a player and leave the club’s management and decision-making to others.
