NAHCO and Suzhou Chamber of Commerce Sign Agreement to Establish Logistics Park

The Nigeria Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Suzhou Chamber of International Commerce to bolster economic collaboration and strengthen trade and investment ties between Nigeria and China.

The agreement aims to establish the China-Nigeria (Suzhou) Logistics Park, which will facilitate seamless trade, improve logistics infrastructure, and create more investment opportunities between the two nations.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Seinde Fadeni, Chairman of NAHCO Plc, described the agreement as a significant milestone for both the company and Nigeria. “This agreement represents a pivotal moment for NAHCO and indeed for Nigeria. By joining forces with the Suzhou Chamber of International Commerce, we are opening new avenues for knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and economic growth,” he stated.

Mr. Lin Xie, President of the Suzhou Chamber of International Commerce, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting that it aligns with China’s commitment to fostering mutually beneficial relationships with African nations. “We are delighted to enter into this cooperation with NAHCO. This partnership aligns with China’s commitment to fostering mutually beneficial relationships with African nations,” Lin Xie said.

Suzhou, known for its role as a hub for China’s agricultural modernization, consumer goods, electronic appliances, cloud computing, and transportation, will serve as the anchor for this initiative, promoting robust economic exchanges between China and Nigeria.

The MoU highlights the growing role of major Nigerian organizations like NAHCO in fostering trade partnerships with China, aiming to drive high-level cooperation and enhance strategic ties between the two countries.
