Nigerian Stars Shine with 2025 NAACP Award Nominations

Nigerian music icons Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Tems have earned significant recognition with nominations at the prestigious 2025 NAACP Awards.

Burna Boy received a nomination in the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (Contemporary) category for his collaboration with Usher on the track Coming Home.

Wizkid garnered two nods: one for Piece of My Heart, his collaboration with Brent Faiyaz, and another in the Best International Song category for the same hit.

In the Best International Song category, Tems also secured a nomination for her track Love Me Jeje from her debut album Born in the Wild, while Davido was recognized for his song Hmm, a collaboration with Chris Brown.

The 56th NAACP Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2025, at the Pasadena Civic Center.
