Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), announced that the NLC is not responsible for organizing the nationwide protest against hunger set for August 1. In a statement, Ajaero clarified that reports suggesting the NLC’s withdrawal from the protest are false. He emphasized that the NLC cannot withdraw from an event it did not initiate, noting that only the actual organizers have the authority to make such a decision.
