A group of Northern Elders led by All progressive Congress ( A PC), Chieftain, Dr. Haruna Garus Gololo, has threatened to lead a massive protest against the proposed support by the Israeli government to the pet project of the First lady Mrs Oluremi Tinubu.
The Israeli ambassador, Micheal Freeman had on Thursday, pledge the collaboration of the Israeli government with renewed Hope Initiative ( RHI), of the first lady, on the area of women empowerment ixn agriculture.

Freeman said the Israeli embassy would work with development partners to open 30 Innovation Centres across the Country. The ambassador also expressed plans to work with the first lady Oluremi Tinubu to empower women in agriculture because of of Nigeria ” right climate” for agriculture.
” In the next programme we will be opening centres to rehabilitate young girls who had been involved in trafficking” he said.
In a statement on Saturday in Abuja, the Northern elders group and Former coordinators of Tinubu presidential Campaign in the North East led by Dr. Haruna Gololo has given me first lady Oluremi Tinubu, one week to come out to reject the offer from the Israeli embassy or risk massive protest .
‘ we are giving the office of the first lady one week to reject the offer or we will embark on protest that will end up in Court”
” We did not vote the first lady into office, we only voted the Husband, as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. The first lady is making a mistake “
” We don’t need any empowerment from Netanyahu, who is killing women and children in Palestine” they warned
