Ondo Deputy Governor Adelami Receives Agricultural Commodities Association, Pledges Government Support

The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Olayide Adelami, welcomed the new leadership of the Ondo State Agricultural Commodities Association (OSACA) in Akure.

During a ‘thank you’ visit to the deputy governor, the association expressed their gratitude to the Aiyedatiwa administration for its attention to crucial sectors. Chief Abiodun Adejo, the new chairman of OSACA, conveyed the association’s appreciation for the deputy governor’s presence at their inauguration, noting his patience in staying until the end of the program.

Chief Adejo revealed that OSACA has developed several initiatives to strengthen the agricultural value chain, which they plan to present to the government soon. He also announced that the association will host the 4th edition of the Ondo State International Agric Show and Food Fair (OSIAFFA) later this year. According to Adejo, previous editions of the show have successfully attracted investors to the state, and this year’s edition promises to be even more impactful.

Deputy Governor Adelami thanked the association for aligning with Governor Aiyedatiwa’s agenda on food security. He assured that the state government would continue to provide a conducive environment for agricultural businesses to flourish.

“I appreciate your cooperation with our government and your commitment to the objectives of this association. Rest assured, our governor will continue to support you and others to ensure we produce abundant food and have enough for export,” Adelami stated.
