Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has acknowledged that the final decision regarding his future lies with the club’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Osimhen showcased his scoring prowess by netting his 26th league goal of the season during Napoli’s 2-0 victory against Sampdoria on Sunday.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international has attracted interest from prominent clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich.

However, Osimhen has entrusted the determination of his next move to President De Laurentiis. In an interview with DAZN, he expressed his appreciation for the affection shown by Napoli fans and stated that he is open to whatever decision the president makes.

Osimhen’s outstanding performances led him to finish as the top scorer in Serie A this season and earned him the distinction of being named the league’s best striker.

“I’m delighted to receive this award. It’s an incredible feeling for me, especially since I also won the Scudetto, which is the most significant achievement of my career so far,” Osimhen commented.

“I am immensely thankful to God for this season, to my teammates, my family, and especially to the people of Naples. They have shown me tremendous support, and they truly deserve all of this,” he added gratefully.
