For the incident at Ita Ajia, he said Saraki sent N500,000 for the rehabilitation of the damaged building and like sum when he visited.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Alhaji Funsho Issa, the Chief of Staff to Chairman of Ilorin East Local Government, thanked the President of the Senate for the gesture and prayed God to continue to assist him also.
He praised his sense of leadership and especially for always standing by his people.
It would be recalled that the fracas which paralysed commercial activities within the areas caused the Kwara state government to set up a special security squad which tracked the perpetrators of the heinous act and has succeeded to stem the tide.
