Uproar as Mohbad’s Mother, Actor Fabiyi Clash Over Singer’s Death

There has been an uproar as Mrs. Abosede Aloba, mother of the late singer Mohbad (Ilerioluwa), and actor Yomi Fabiyi clash over the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.

At a World Press Conference held on Wednesday at Radisson Blu in Ikeja, Lagos State, Fabiyi demanded justice for Mohbad and accused the singer’s brother, Adura Aloba, of messaging him on Instagram, claiming to know the cause of his brother’s death.

However, Adura Aloba swiftly denied the accusation, stating that he was unaware of the true cause of Mohbad’s death and urging Fabiyi to stay silent.

The tension escalated as Mrs. Abosede Aloba, visibly angry, pointed at Fabiyi and shouted, “They killed Mohbad, and you want me to lose his brother unjustly. He knows nothing about his brother’s death; do not implicate my son.”

In an emotional statement, she said, “I am not happy that I lost Mohbad because if he were alive, I wouldn’t be sitting here with you. They took my precious gift away, and I won’t let them take Adura, too.”

Fabiyi, however, insisted that his concern was not about who sent the message, but about its content. He maintained that he had doubts regarding Adura’s denial and was not convinced that the message wasn’t sent by him.

The incident highlights the ongoing tension and questions surrounding Mohbad’s untimely death, with various parties demanding justice for the late musician.
