The School of Information Technology and Computing, SITC of the American University of Nigeria, AUN is holding the 8th edition of its Technology Open House at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre tomorrow, December 8.
According to the Dean of SITC, Mathias Funkam, the Technology Open House is aimed at encouraging and nurturing the use of technology for teaching and learning within the University.
He said the programme is another aspect of the university reaching out to its host community saying “our vision is always trying to engage with the community and trying to support the university’s mission of development.”
The technology exhibition according to him included Web Design and Application Track, Database Management and System Modeling Track and Server Administration and Telecommunications Track.
It would be recalled that this is the first time the Technology Open House if holding outside Yola, the Adamawa State Capital.
