I cannot comprehend the high level of docility in our Youth, especially in the Niger Delta Region.
They are so much in love with those members of the political class who have created deliberately a warehouse of poverty and stagnation without human face towards humanity.
These set of Politicians have mastered the game of making our youths beggers and they have intentionally created an army of bandits because of their selfish interest.
As a little boy, I saw Sports Institutes like the one in Isaka, Craft Centres, Skills Acquisition Centres, we even participated in inter house sports, drama clubs and essay writing competitions. Today many young people have lost the culture of reading books with no available jobs or business encouragement for our teeming youth.
You cannot understand the level of damage these so called political class have done to our Region. All the multi – nationals, big corporations are now operating from Lagos because of what we created. Sadly we have lost thousands of our Niger Delta youth in the Mediterranean Sea and a large number are still in torture and all form of inhumane abuse in Libya and Mali, all in a bid to seek for greener pastures.
The monumental looting of our commonwealth in States and the Niger Delta Development Commission have gone beyond human comprehension, even in the Presidential Armnesty office. With all this Trillions, we cannot pin point a job creating mechanism that our wealth has brought for us, with little or no measured large scale factories, healthcare systems or tourist attractions.
My heart bleeds for our people and the future of our children. My dear youths, the movers and shakers of the global world economy today are less than 35 years old. Rise up and start creating your future….
