PDP National Chair Makes First Appointment

Bwala Takes Charge of Media, Shettima, Special Duties

The new National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has announced his first set of appointments.
Those appointed are; a veteran journalists, and publisher, Mr. Inuwa Bwala, who is to serve as Special Assistant, Media to the chairman, while Hon. Shettima Shehu, is to serve as Special Assistant, Special Duties to the chairman.
Mr. Bwala who is also a politician, was until his appointment, the chairman and Editor-In-Chief, Trail Publications Ltd, publishers of Abuja based influential weekly, nationalTRAIL newspaper.
He had served as Special Assistant, Media to several state governors, in three different states across Nigeria, in the north central and the north east zones.
Mr. Bwala, had also served as commissioner for Information and Home Affairs in Borno State for many years.
A thorough breed journalist, whose journalistic career saw him working in organisations such as; The Punch newspaper, Leadership newspaper, and several others, is to oversee all media activities of the new chairman of the now opposion Party.
Also appointed, is Mr. Shettima Shehu, who had served as a member of the Federal House of representatives, and has remained a very active politician since then.
They are both married with children, and have since assumed their respective duties at the Wadata House, national headquarters of the PDP.
He is to assist the chairman in the discharge of his daily official duties
