Ekiti APC Mourns the Passing of Chairman, Paul Omotoso

In a shocking development, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State is in mourning as its Chairman, Paul Omotoso, has passed away. The news of his demise, attributed to a brief illness, was reported in the early hours of Wednesday.

According to sources, Omotoso had been actively engaged in his role, being present at the office on Tuesday. However, he reportedly left in the evening, and news of his sudden death emerged the following morning, leaving the party and the state in sorrow.

A high-ranking official from the Ekiti State Government confirmed the unfortunate incident, stating, “Yes, the APC State chairman is dead. We will pay a visit to his family this morning.” The sudden loss has sent shockwaves through the political landscape of the state, prompting condolences and expressions of grief from various quarters.

It is worth noting that Paul Omotoso had faced adversity in the past, having been kidnapped last year. Fortunately, he regained his freedom a few days after the incident.
