Abuja-Jos flight operations commences 28 of this month

Airline passengers from Jos and environs are in for better times as Max Airlines  flights commenced it’s Abuja-Jos flights operations from 28th of this month. 

This followed an earlier Memorandum of understanding, MOU, signed between the government and the operators of Max Airlines on the commencement of flights on this route which is the first of its kind. 

A statement  by the state commissioner of information and communication, Dan Manjang said the flights “operated by Max Air are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays”

According to him, by this development, interested passengers are encouraged to take advantage of the new opportunity for easier and faster connection between Plateau State and Nigeria’s Capital, Abuja.

It is  expected that the State Governor, Simon Lalong will flag off the inaugural flight on Monday 28th September 2020 from Abuja to Jos.

The government then encouraged citizens of the State, businessmen, tourists, Nigerians, foreigners and all members of the public to take advantage of this new opportunity to explore the wonderful economic and social opportunities presented by this development. 

On the scheculed days, the flight will depart Abuja at 1520 (3:20pm) and arrive Jos at 1600 (4pm). Same days, the flight departs Jos at 1645 (4:45pm) to arrive Abuja at 1725 (5:25pm).

With this development, a big relief has come the way of travellers; who have to grapple with the inconvenience of bad road, kidnappers and armed men who are daily encountered on the highway.
