Ogunmodede Honored to Serve as Super Eagles Assistant Coach

Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has expressed his profound honor in being appointed as part of the Super Eagles technical crew. Ogunmodede, along with Enugu Rangers head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, was selected to assist caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

The Super Eagles began their campaign with a 3-0 victory over the Cheetahs, followed by a 0-0 draw against the Amavubi. As the team prepares for their upcoming match against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya, Ogunmodede encouraged fans to stay positive.

“I am deeply honored to have answered the call to serve our beloved country,” Ogunmodede shared on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Let’s remain positive and united in our pursuit of success…Together, we can be better.”

Ogunmodede will continue his duties as Remo Stars head coach, with his team set to face Sunshine Stars in a South West derby this Sunday.
