Apapa Chairman Donates Vehicles to Police, Legislators, and NULGE

The Chairman of Apapa Local Government, Idowu Senbanjo, has made significant contributions to enhancing community services by donating vehicles to various police commands, legislators, the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), and the Primary Health Centre in Apapa.

The beneficiaries of this donation include the Area B Police Command, Ijora Badia Police Command, and the Nigeria Port Authority Police Command. The donation is part of Senbanjo’s ongoing efforts to support and strengthen the operations of these vital institutions within the community.

Senbanjo stated that the vehicles were provided to assist police commands and community groups in improving their service delivery and operational efficiency. “This is part of our commitment to protecting the people of the Port City Council,” she explained.

During the presentation of the vehicles, Senbanjo acknowledged the crucial role the police play in maintaining safety in Apapa and expressed her commitment to supporting their efforts in reducing crime rates. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between the council and security agencies to uphold law and order in the community.

In addition to supporting the police, Senbanjo donated an ambulance to the Primary Health Centre, underscoring the necessity of enhancing emergency services in Apapa. The vehicles donated, including Sienna buses and the ambulance, are intended to facilitate efficient patrol operations, emergency response, and official transportation for the beneficiaries.
