APC Assures Governors of Support, Aims for Victory in Edo and Ondo

The Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) expressed its confidence in the governors elected on its platform, pledging to protect their interests and maintain a strong relationship with them.

Speaking in Abuja during a visit by Senator Hope Uzodinma, Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and Imo State Governor, Ganduje emphasized the party’s commitment to its governors. He stated, “We will do all it takes to ensure that we maintain a good relationship with our governors all over the country and protect their interests. They are making the party proud as an institution.”

Uzodinma, reaffirming the party’s strength, assured that the APC will win the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo and retain its hold on Ondo State. He highlighted the importance of party loyalty and support for the national leadership.

Uzodinma stated, “A party like APC, in control of 20 states out of 36 and having produced a President and members of the Federal Executive Council, is the majority party. If elections are a game of numbers, the majority will win.”

The Imo Governor was accompanied by Cross River Governor Bassey Otu, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and Ekiti State Governor Abiodun Oyebanji.
