Bauchi APC Chairman Escape Impeachment
By Sule Aliyu, Bauchi
Bauchi state All progressive Congress party chairman Alhaji Ahmed Uba Nana has escape impeachment from five LGAs chairmen of the party in the state out of 20 LGAs party chairmen.
The five LGAs chairmen of the party are Ningi, Shira, misau
Alkaleri and Bauchi Local government respectively
Bauchi APC branch chairman Alhaji Rabiu Shehu Dan Baba who spoke on behalf of other chairmen in a press briefing said, their decision to impeach the APC state chairman Uba Nana followed his incompetence and how he surreptitiously handles the party’s affairs as his personal estate
According to them, the APC under Nana lacks internal democracy in spite of the need for aggressive move to embrace people to the party’s fold.
The aggrieved party chairmen therefore opined for the investigation of Nana led team and had since announce their replacement.
But the State chapter of the APC party on Tuesday put a lie to the allegation by some party chieftains that its state Chairman, Alhaji Uba Ahmed Nana Garkuwan Ningi has been removed from office by the state governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar.
Addressing journalists yesterday at the state secretariat of the party on the allegation, the state Secretary of the party, Alhaji HarunaDisina, denied the purported sack of the executive members in the state.
According to him, the allegation was nothing but all lies made up by Danbaba and his cohorts.
The party scribe, who was in company with other executive members of the party in the state as well as chairmen from 19 local government areas in the state, declared that no one has the power to remove the elected party officials unless members of the party who elected them into office.
Disina warned that anyone trying to bring crisis into the party in the state will be handed over to security agencies.
He therefore submitted that the party’s executive council is still intact as earlier constituted.
Also addressing journalists at the venue, the party chairman in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area, Mijinya Hardo, condemned the allegation made by some party chiefs.
He declared that APC in the state is not only intact but also “we are all together in peace”.
The Zaki Local Governmnet Area chairman of the party, Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar Yaro, also spoke in the same vein, saying that there is nothing like the removal of the party officials both at the state and local government levels

Pius Akutah’s Alleged Fraud at Nigerian Shippers Council Uncovered
Investigations by Nigerian Concord Newspaper reveal that the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Mr. Pius Akutah, has allegedly misappropriated public funds for a lavish lifestyle.
According to our findings, within months of assuming office, Akutah allegedly purchased a bulletproof SUV valued at approximately N850 million. In addition, he is reported to have acquired over twenty exotic SUVs for use as a convoy.
Akutah is also said to have acquired multiple high-value properties, including three in Abuja’s Maitama and Asokoro districts worth over N2 billion, and two in Lagos’ Banana Island valued at N1.8 billion. These acquisitions appear far beyond the scope of his official salary and allowances.
Further investigation suggests that Akutah may be using public funds to support political ambitions, including allegedly grooming militants across 23 local government areas in Benue State for a potential 2027 gubernatorial bid.
Staff of the Shippers Council reportedly claim that Akutah frequently accesses the council’s treasury without proper authorization. Some insiders have indicated that a petition will soon be filed with the EFCC, ICPC, and the Presidency to report his alleged misconduct.
