El-Buba: “I’m Fulani, But I Must Speak the Truth”

Prophet Isa El-Buba has taken a bold stance against Miyetti Allah, declaring that despite his Fulani heritage, he cannot stay silent in the face of injustice.
Speaking in an interview with News Central TV, El-Buba emphasized the moral duty to uphold truth, citing scripture as his guide.
“I’m a Fulani man, a grandfather of eight grandchildren, and we just have to speak the truth. The Bible says you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free,” he said.
The outspoken cleric criticized the conduct of some Miyetti Allah leaders, accusing them of heightening tensions instead of seeking peaceful solutions to recurring farmer-herder conflicts. He noted that the group has often been accused of justifying or downplaying violent attacks by herders.
El-Buba maintained that ethnic or religious ties should not prevent leaders from standing on the side of justice. He urged Fulani elders, especially within Miyetti Allah, to embrace dialogue and accountability rather than shielding criminal elements operating under the guise of cattle herding.
He further called on government authorities to handle farmer-herder disputes with fairness, warning that selective justice has deepened divisions in the country.
El-Buba’s comments have stirred debate nationwide, with many Nigerians commending his courage to confront sensitive issues within his own community.

Investigations by Nigerian Concord Newspaper reveal that the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Mr. Pius Akutah, has allegedly misappropriated public funds for a lavish lifestyle.
According to our findings, within months of assuming office, Akutah allegedly purchased a bulletproof SUV valued at approximately N850 million. In addition, he is reported to have acquired over twenty exotic SUVs for use as a convoy.
Akutah is also said to have acquired multiple high-value properties, including three in Abuja’s Maitama and Asokoro districts worth over N2 billion, and two in Lagos’ Banana Island valued at N1.8 billion. These acquisitions appear far beyond the scope of his official salary and allowances.
Further investigation suggests that Akutah may be using public funds to support political ambitions, including allegedly grooming militants across 23 local government areas in Benue State for a potential 2027 gubernatorial bid.
Staff of the Shippers Council reportedly claim that Akutah frequently accesses the council’s treasury without proper authorization. Some insiders have indicated that a petition will soon be filed with the EFCC, ICPC, and the Presidency to report his alleged misconduct.
