NDDC Cautions Against Scammers and Fake Contracts
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has raised an alert about scammers posing as representatives of the agency to deceive unsuspecting Nigerians with fake contracts and a counterfeit website.

The NDDC clarified that the contents and documents on the fraudulent website are fabricated and have no origin within the commission or any of its past or present officials. Ibitoye Abosede, the Director of Corporate Affairs at the commission, released a statement on Sunday, revealing that a new scam circulating online involves a fake communication between fraudsters and a US-based company. The message falsely claims that a ‘Contract Award Committee’ within the commission is processing job tenders.
