NDLEA Officers Thankful for Tinubu’s Support in Drug War – Marwa

Mohammed Buba Marwa, the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), expressed gratitude for the support provided by President Bola Tinubu in the fight against drug trafficking. Marwa made this statement while inspecting facilities at the NDLEA barracks in Yola, Adamawa state. He commended the commitment to security and welfare for NDLEA personnel, particularly the construction of barracks. Marwa acknowledged the efforts of both President Muhammadu Buhari and President Tinubu in addressing the challenges faced by NDLEA officers in combating drug-related crimes. The NDLEA chairman also highlighted ongoing efforts to reduce both drug supply and demand, emphasizing the collaborative approach involving various stakeholders. Marwa hinted at an upcoming briefing to announce a significant seizure and arrests related to dismantling drug cartels operating across borders.
