Afeez Agoro Oladimiji, a renowned Nollywood actor who was widely recognized as the tallest man in Nigeria, has sadly passed away. Agoro, who stood at an impressive height of 7 feet 4 inches, breathed his last on Thursday following a long illness. His towering stature captured attention wherever he went, and he was known for his appearances in several movies. The news of his demise brings an end to a unique and remarkable life.
The Community Development Association, representing the community where the actor Afeez Agoro resided, has officially confirmed his passing. Segun Adesanya, a member of the association, expressed his condolences and stated that Agoro was a promising young man. He further extended wishes for Agoro’s soul to rest in peace.
In addition to his acting career, Agoro was a TV personality known for his show titled “I am Agoro,” which aired exclusively on Linda Ikeji TV. In May 2023, Agoro had appealed for financial assistance of N5 million for medical treatment.Afeez Agoro had sought to raise N5 million to cover the expenses of his treatment for chronic hip arthritis. The treatment involved the replacement of his ball and socket joint. Agoro reached out to the public for financial assistance to undergo the necessary medical procedure.
