“North-East Rebuilding Movement Commends Nigerian Military’s Non-Kinetic Approach to Counterterrorism”

By  Milcah  Tanimu

The North-East Rebuilding Movement has applauded the Armed Forces of Nigeria for adopting a non-kinetic approach in addressing the security challenges in the region. In a press release, the group welcomed the reported release of repentant Boko Haram terrorists, highlighting the Chief of Defence Staff’s disclosure that a significant number of surrendering individuals were affiliated with the Abubakar Shekau faction. The group sees the non-kinetic approach as effective and urges terrorists to embrace it for their own benefit. With confidence in the leadership of Gen. Chris Gwabin Musa, the group believes that the military will respond appropriately to unrepentant terrorists, emphasizing the necessity of peace and stability for socio-economic development in the North-East.
