Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, praised Tinubu’s understanding of longstanding challenges and called for collective dedication and support from traditional leaders, the new government, and state governors. The Sultan emphasized the significance of collaboration to address healthcare challenges nationwide.Expressing gratitude to the committee members, the patron highlighted the importance of their tireless efforts in serving humanity. He recognized the significant role of traditional leaders as key stakeholders in national governance and stressed the need for continuous support for the government at all levels. With recent changes in leadership, he emphasized the importance of acquainting the new executives with the committee’s work and promptly briefing them on their activities and future plans for success with government support.The Sultan emphasized the crucial role of state governors in providing unwavering support to the committee’s initiatives, allowing participation from various states. He acknowledged the instrumental commitment of the members in the committee’s accomplishments to date. Shedding light on the challenges ahead, the Sultan underscored the presence of numerous displaced persons in six states, posing difficulties in delivering vital healthcare services to them.
