Osimhen and Iheanacho Depart Super Eagles Camp Prior to Mozambique Friendly

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho have left the Super Eagles camp ahead of the international friendly against Mozambique, scheduled for Monday.

Osimhen’s departure is due to a hamstring injury he sustained during the 2-2 draw with Saudi Arabia on Friday. He was substituted by Terem Moffi in the second half of the match.

Iheanacho, on the other hand, has been granted permission to leave the camp to attend to a family emergency.

As a result, Super Eagles head coach Peseiro now has only three center-forwards available for the upcoming match, namely Terem Moffi, Victor Boniface, and Sadiq Umar.
