“Over N300 Billion Allocated to Agriculture in 2024 Budget Reflects FG’s Commitment to Tackle Hunger,” says Senator Adeola

Senator Solomon Adeola, Chairman of the Senate Committee for Appropriation, expressed that the allocation of over N300 billion to agriculture in the approved N28.7 trillion 2024 budget signifies the federal government’s dedication, under President Bola Tinubu, to enhance food production and address hunger in the country. Speaking during a New Year celebration event in Ilaro, Ogun state, Senator Adeola highlighted the importance of this move in ensuring food security, fostering development, and alleviating economic challenges faced by Nigerians. He commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for inclusive leadership and promised enhanced representation for Ogun West Senatorial District, emphasizing ongoing developmental projects and financial support for constituents. The event also featured the First Lady, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, Minister of State for Environment, Dr. Isiaq Kunle Salako, and other dignitaries.
