Governor ‘Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced his commitment to disburse the 13th-month salary to civil servants in the state before the New Year. The governor made this pledge during the 2023 Christmas Carol Service held at the Remembrance Arcade, Government House, Agodi, Ibadan, with the theme “Unto Us a Child is Born.”
Makinde took to his verified social media account to share the news, expressing gratitude to God for His mercies and faithfulness throughout the challenging year economically. The announcement reaffirms the governor’s administration’s consistent implementation of the 13th-month salary payment since 2019.
