In celebration of the Christmas and New Year festivities, gospel artist Paul Oluikpe has released a new single, “I Go Worship You,” a heartfelt tribute to the Supreme God. The song, performed in Pidgin English, expresses a deep resolve to worship, with the repetitive and pious refrain “I go worship you.”
The track starts with a vocal sample of the classic gospel song “Light of the World” before transitioning into the vibrant and spiritually charged Pidgin lines. Notably, the song features Possible Mima, an emerging artist with a distinctive voice that adds a fresh dynamic to the track.
Oluikpe has a history of discovering and promoting new talent, such as Preye Orok in 2017 and Kwin in 2019. His sharp eye for talent has helped these artists achieve recognition in the gospel music scene.
Having started his music career with the gospel group Soul Solace in 2013, Oluikpe went solo in 2015 and has since earned multiple awards for his work. His new single is another addition to an already impressive discography.
