SECURITY ALUMNI WARNS OF POSSIBLE ESCALATION OF THE ISRAELI/HAMAS WAR

The Israel/Hamas conflict could be a precursor for global war, the Alumni Association of the National Institute of Security Studies, AANISS, has warned.
The alumni stated this while expressing concern over dangerous assumptions about the ongoing armed conflict between Israel and the pseudo religious group, Hamas in the Gaza region.
A press release by Presidebt of the Association, Barrister Mike Ejiofor, stated the position of its members on the war, to include cautioning religious clerics, who make inflammatory religious misinterpretations to the conflict.
The alumni, while expressing fears for the escalation of the Israeli/Hamas war and the Russia/Ukraine war into global religious and geopolitical wars, stated that there should be global restraint.
According to Mr Ejiofor, some of the utterances by some religious leaders are capable of inflaming passions back in Nigeria, with the tendency of further increasing tensions, to an already pensive citizenry: which is facing socio economic hardships.
As a peace building association and partners in global peace initiatives, AANISS, Ejiofor stated, is obliged to caution and call on security agencies to ensure all inflammatory utterances capable of undermining national, cum global peace is put under effective check.
War, the ace lawyer cum security expert stated has never resolved any disagreement, as such, all those directly or indirectly involved in the two foremost global wars, should encourage amicable resolutions and not to further push parties into deeper crises.
He also said the world can not afford any war, at this period of global disbalance, as such, focus should be towards peace.
