US woman accusing Davido of pregnancy denies adultery, claims fornication.

Nigerian singer Davido finds himself entangled in another baby-mama drama as a woman based in the US, known as Anita Brown, accuses him of impregnating her and pressuring her to terminate the pregnancy. To support her claims, she shares alleged screenshots of conversations with the artist.

Brown asserts that she had no knowledge of Davido’s marital status and denies being aware of his marriage. She claims that she was asked to falsely claim her social media account was hacked when she initially made the revelation. In a video she shared, she takes a pregnancy test, which turns out positive, and reveals that Davido’s cousin, Clarks Adeleke, inquired about her plans regarding the pregnancy.

Responding to the allegations, Brown states, “What really bothers me is this married man narrative that you all are dragging. I did not know he was married, I swear to God. Look at his page, does he look like a married man? I’m confused. Rest in peace to the child, people knew about the baby, but nobody knew he got married. I’m in America, nobody here knew, sorry. It’s not on the blogs, it’s not a big thing. If a man doesn’t tell me, then I don’t know, and I wasn’t checking for it because I’m not looking to get married right now. So, no, I didn’t know. I actually found out afterward that I’m pregnant. So, y’all should cut it out. Maybe I’m a fornicator, but never an adulterer. Calm down.”

The news has left netizens in shock and disappointment, questioning how Davido, known for his Afrobeat music, could be involved in such an extramarital affair while still grieving the loss of his son with Chioma.

Some Twitter users expressed sympathy for Davido, emphasizing that the woman took advantage of his vulnerability during a time of mourning. Others commented on the pressure he faces from women, stating that it seems impossible for him to avoid such situations. Additionally, some individuals criticized the behavior of the women involved, highlighting the consequences of emotional manipulation and unprotected sexual encounters.

Despite varying reactions, the controversy surrounding Davido’s alleged involvement with multiple women continues to garner attention and spark conversations online.

Abuja-Lokoja Highway Gridlock: FRSC Blames Motorists’ Impatience

Published

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has expressed frustration over motorists’ lack of cooperation in easing the gridlock on the Abuja-Lokoja highway.

Kogi State Sector Commander, Kumar Tsukwam, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that officials had been battling since Sunday to clear the traffic, which stretched from Ogbobo/Ozi to the Murtala Mohammed Bridge in Koton-Karfe.

He attributed the gridlock to ongoing road construction, broken-down vehicles on the single lane, and motorists’ impatience.
“Some drivers blocked opposing lanes, worsening the situation. We are doing our best to restore free movement for travellers,” Tsukwam said.

Motorists and commuters lamented the hardship caused by the standstill. Mohammed Yusuf, a driver, said he spent nine hours travelling from Abuja to Lokoja on Sunday.
“I left Abuja before 3 p.m. but didn’t reach Lokoja until midnight. The fuel wasted on the road is unbearable, especially with current prices,” he said.

Another traveller, Christopher Adamu, recounted spending the entire night in traffic after leaving Abuja in the evening. He urged authorities to take urgent measures to address the situation.

NAN reports that a construction company is currently working on the right lane of the highway between Koton-Karfe and Abaji, forcing traffic onto a single lane and worsening congestion.

Nigerian singer and Nollywood actor, Chike Osebuka, has dismissed the idea of marriage, describing it as a “stupid step” while stressing that his happiness is tied to financial stability.

The 32-year-old artiste made this known during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where he revealed that he currently has no plans to settle down.

“In my personal opinion, I think it’s a stupid step to get married. For me to be happy, I need a lot of money. This is not even carnal—I just like money. I want money,” Chike stated.

Reflecting on his career, the singer admitted he never imagined music would become his profession until after completing university.

“I would say maybe right after my university, I knew music is what I’ll do for a living. Before then, I just used to sing and disturb everybody around me,” he said.

Chike also recalled enduring tough financial times early in his career, which pushed him into acting roles for about two years just to stay afloat.
